Wait a minute-they can be used that way-due to AGW you will continue to get what you always got in the past. You'll just get more of it. That is unless you get less of it in which case please revert to the original contention. Having unfortunately missed out on the experience of being a devoted Communist under Stalin's watch; this debate has allowed me to plum the famous mental gymnastics required of that existence. Imagine yourself a true AGW believer attempting to stay abreast of the current line. Ever fearful of missing a quick turn in the crooked road you simply default to authority. "They said it so it must be right" It's a one-stop solution and you can get on with real life under it's protective umbrella. Mental fatigue and apathy may be underrated as drivers of world events.
