Will they ever give up trying to fix a non-existent problem? I think not. They’re planning not only one, but now three conferences to try and figure out a new way to say the sky is falling. What will it be? Methane Gas? Ocean Acidification? Little Green Men from Mars? A Meteor? Cow Farts? Too much hot air from AGW believers?
The United Nations says formal negotiations on an international treaty to control global warming will resume in Bonn in April, four months after the failed climate change summit in Copenhagen.
U.N. climate chief Yvo de Boer said Tuesday the negotiating schedule is being intensified in order to secure a global climate deal at the end of the year. After the Bonn meeting April 9-11, more talks are scheduled there for May 31-June 11.
The next world climate summit is to take place in Cancun, Mexico, from Nov. 29 to Dec. 10.
De Boer, who will resign July 1, said that since Copenhagen, one hundred countries have submitted individual emission cut targets. He said he saw commitment by governments “to move negotiations forward toward success in Cancun.”
I wonder if Las Vegas will start taking bets on this?

AS I HAVE POINTED OUT REPEATEDLY ON THIS BLOG ALREADY, METHANE GAS FEEDBACK IS NOT A NEW IDEA.
In fact it took me only 5 minutes to find a paper on it from 1987.
Do the bloggers here bother to do ANY fact checking before they go off spouting whatever sounds good to them?

I was planning a post about the subject.
I’ll let you wait for it, but it basically strongly suggests that methane is – a lot of hot air. By the way it’s from a scientific study.
I don’t put it in definite terms because climate isn’t like that. There are too many unknown factors and comples inter actions.
It’s not a problem either….
The best problem to work on is a non-existent one. With a non problem everybody can be a hero, deluded people work well together and all analysis always shows that the non problem is a problem. The non problem gets recycled around and around and more non problems spin off creating new non problem opportunities.
I wouldn’t laugh at a madman with a gun to my head!.. These bureaucrats have HUGE BETS (Investments) in the Con game and they will do all in their power to get it into LAW. VERY dangerous!.
I think AGW is being used to implement most of the unfinished goals of the New International Economic Order that fizzled out in the 80′s.
