First book on climategate is now out
Well that didn’t take long. The first book on climategate is out now. You won’t find it in your local bookstore, as it’s in electronic form only. Climategate: The Crutape Letters is written by Steven Mosher and Thomas W. Fuller. You can find a review of the book at WattsUpWithThat, and you can go directly to the online bookstore here.
From the book’s sales page:
The Climategate scandal covered from beginning to end–from ‘Hide the Decline’ to the current day. Written by two authors who were on the scene–Steven Mosher and Tom Fuller–Climategate takes you behind that scene and shows what happened and why.
For those who have heard that the emails were taken out of context–we provide that context and show it is worse when context is provided.
For those who have heard that this is a tempest in a teacup–we show why it will swamp the conventional wisdom on climate change.
And for those who have heard that this scandal is just ‘boys being boys’–well, boy. It’s as seamy as what happened on Wall Street.
Well, if Anthony Watts recommends it then that’s good enough for me! I’ll be placing my order. Watts says it’s written well – like a detective story, with the twists and turns of Mickey Spillane with a Hardy Boys approach. So its a ‘must buy’ for anyone who wants the full inside scoop – something you’ll never get from the MSM.
John…are you sure that isn’t you in the black outfit? He seems to have the same grasp of the situation as you. Don’t know how he’d come off in a courtroom in the black tights and balaclava.
Really..a book on ‘climategate’ that really delivers the goods and it has the twists and turns of Mickey Spillane with a (good Christ) Hardy Boys approach? Are you serious?
By the way John O’Sullivan..
How many takers on the whistle blowing trawling project?
If we told you we’d have to shot you.
Hmm..thinking this through, maybe we should tell you.
Waste of a good bullet.
[...] But I did find the highly informative Climategate.com, which recently featured as its lead post a glorified ad for the new Steven Mosher/Tom Fuller quickie book on Climategate. Surely, then, Post editors will agree with the sentiments of this set of search links. Alas, a [...]
