Dr. Rajendra Pachauri: It’s not my fault and I won’t resign!

Just caught this before hitting the sack: Dr Rajendra Pachauri cries that he would not resign or apologise for the mistake in a landmark 2007 report on global warming in which it said the Himalayan Glaciers would melt by 2025.

Did you expect anything less? These guys won’t be brought down easily. We have to take them down HARD.

I trust the UN will be just as useful in removing this piece of sleazy Sh*t as they were in protecting the Tutsi tribe from the Hutus. All hot air and a waste of global tax payers money.

After we finish dismantling AGW I think we the people should demand an end to the UN in it’s current form.

Then whose fault was it any way…?
As he got the fruits (Nobel and Padma Vibhusan awards) for grey-reporting on glaciergate, greengate etc., if not all, irrespective of whether he did or 1000s others, with all decency he should have politely accepted errors instead of gaging (fear of Hasnain loosing ERI job), masking (2 month before Kopenhagen meet), barking (voodoo science), and covering up (typo error) operations. By such actions, he is close to a dirty politician and not a scientist. Such behavious are normal for an economist and a railway engineer and that is what precisely he is. Personally if he don’t feel resposible, accidently as head of more than 3000 scientists in IPCC, it is not fair on his part to wash his hands so rudely. Decency and humbleness pays …. Arrogant looses before they start.
Moreover, he has to set the table for 5th report, if he continues and leads the same group … he may end up similar crap if responsiblity is not fixed to any one. Best is UN shall rinse the dirt … before next job on 5th report, that to only if it is necessary and not a ritual. After all, climate is the relative long term weather to the bench marks set on, and it matters what are they? Do not let people start believing that climate change is not a science, but a culture (either one is a part of it or not) / religon (follow as religious or ignor as an atheist).

UN has to ensure trust of billions of people, all the countries and millions of stake-holders whose interest it is protecting in its charter.
All the best to UN and earth.

No-no-no-no. Please, do not drive him out hard. Let him stay there. Removing this clown would be, on the whole, much worse: alarmists will just blame everything on him, proclaim that the organization had undergone real changes, put someone with a face appealing to the public in his place, and that will be it. No, we really need Pachauri with his ass firmly in his chair to break the whole thing wide open.
