He said "tree mortality"... Any one who lives in Western Canada or the US has heard about the Pine Beetle.. Which is killing trees at an alarming rate.. The pine beetle infestation is being caused by two things. Over managed forests (Read: we humans put out forests fires) and winters that havent been cold enough.. (Pine beetle eggs are killed with a long perioid of -30c temperatures.. the last few years the avg temperatures have gone up) Does any of this have to do with Co2? probably not.. the FACT is the AVG temp. has gone up, and allowed the pine beetle to spread.. WTF?
