NASA’s James Hansen: What a nut!
James Hansen: Would you buy a used temperature data set from THIS man?
That’s the title of James Delingpole’s must-read article in his blog in the UK Telegraph.
Before we get too worried about NASA’s latest stamping-its-little-feet claims that the world is getting hotter it is it is it IS, let us first remind ourselves why we should trust their temperature records slightly less far than we can spit.
Then let’s have a closer look at the character and motives of the man in charge of NASA’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS), Dr James Hansen. Last year, he was described by his former course supervisor at NASA, Dr John Theon, as an “activist” and an embarrassment.

If Mr. Hansen wants to reduce or get rid of humans I would offer him the sincere suggestion that the Golden Gate Bridge awaits him to jump off and help the planet! But I’ll bet he’d be the last person on Earth to take up that offer. AKA: Do as I say not as I do.
The elitists have taken over, Hansen is a reflection of what Nasa has become. It’s not about science, it’s about groupthink, the overall big picture. There are many more in the higher echelons of NASA cloned with the same ideology.
It’s nice that Hansen’s reputation is finally getting hit. It would be even nicer if it would happen here in America.
The public endorsement of such extreme views is usually followed by a letter of resignation. Please don’t resign before the hearings Dr. Hansen. We want the pleasure of booting your sorry arse out.
This just keeps getting better and better. What is it going to take for our politicians to wake up. There is more than enough evidence here to warrant an investigation.
