Pachauri’s Ass on the Line?
According to the Telegraph Rajendra Pachauri’s ass is on the line, regarding his job with the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). Of course this discussion isn’t open to the public–nothing else about Climategate has been transparent, so why should this? The cloaking of their goings on is so good, that CIA has to be jealous of their ability to lie, obfuscate and hide in plain sight.
He will try to save his job and shore up support for the IPCC in the wake of the discovery of errors in its latest report.
He is attending a special closed meeting of environment and climate ministers in the fringes of the annual assembly of the United Nations Environment Programme’s (UNEP) Governing Council, the biggest such event since Copenhagen climate summit that ended in confusion and recriminations last December.
After reading the entire article, it sounds like another dog & pony show. They really can’t fire him now, and it sounds like the UNEP probably wouldn’t even if they could. I’d venture a guess this will be more like a meeting of the minds to come up with some new and improved BS so they can justify not replacing him. But then, I’m a suspicious person.
Instead ministers will press him to regain their confidence by outlining measures to prevent future errors and subject his organisation to independent scrutiny.
I wonder if “independent scrutiny” is a code word for having watchdogs from the UN all over him so he doesn’t screw up this time?
After all the lies, deceit, manipulation and corruption, I can’t fathom why they would even want to talk to this guy, much less expect him to regain UNEP’s or anyone else’s confidence.

They’re probably keeping him because hes already in on the fact that its a fraud. It would be hard to get a new person to front this fraud when so many people are suspect of it now. No one wants that position. Hes the man now and they will just keep on pushing as long as they can, and as long as he is the man up front it will be more ‘his fault’ than a collective fault.

I would like to see Pachauri and Gore do hard time in a hard work labor prison…it could be the new reality tv show of the year!!
They can’t dare to show Dr Pachauri or Al Gore at any future AGW Consference. and when the UK Met Office tried to step into the breach when Phil Jones went missing at Copenhagen, it nearly destroyed their reputation and business.
It’s like they’ve paid a fortune for Dumb and Dumber to play in their team and daren’t play either of them now, and expose what fools they are.
I bet if they appeared together on the same stage they wouldn’t be able to tell the same story.
Better it the pair paid All the money back to the stupid governments that have been scammed.
Our fix for these types is to LAUGH out loud at any events where these crooks might appear at Ha HA HA ha and point!..
The UN has shot it’s bolt in the USA. Oil for food was bad, Libya, Cuba, and North Korea on the Human Rights Commisson was a farce, and now this? I used to think it was a useful tool but climategate has burst that illusion.

BECAUSE they know he is made in the same mould as they the UN.The UN and its subsidiaries are nothing but a bunch of lying thugs and we must move to disband it as soon as possible.IPCC is but a very small part of the Global thuggery a.k.a U.N.
Pachauri is toast. They may not fire him. It is too much read tape to have all nations get together to vote. He will just be run off by shunning and other miserable hindrances.
