Does the lunacy ever end? Now they want to simulate volcanoes to save the planet

Don't worry, it's organic

Paul Joseph Watson at Prison Planet has penned a great article today called, Mad Scientists Want To Simulate Volcanoes To Block Sun. Yes, its as crazy as it sounds. It seems some scientists are now in such a hurry to cool the planet, that they want to simulate volcanic eruptions to block the sun, rather than the more costly methods of cutting greenhouse gas emissions.

Aside from the obvious sheer lunacy of it all, Paul Joseph Watson poses some possible mild side effects:

No doubt the following benefits that are associated with exposure to sulphur will be enjoyed as an added bonus by the same kind of people who advocate genocidal measures of population reduction.

- Neurological effects and behavioral changes
- Disturbance of blood circulation
- Heart damage
- Effects on eyes and eyesight
- Reproductive failure
- Damage to immune systems
- Stomach and gastrointestinal disorder
- Damage to liver and kidney functions
- Hearing defects
- Disturbance of the hormonal metabolism
- Dermatological effects
- Suffocation and lung embolism

Oh, and we thought of one other little side effect: a new Ice Age maybe?

If they block the sun will we all still be able to see their dark deeds?
One way or another they have to devise ways to keep the loot rolling in.This is not a good time to be jobless.

Stimulate the Yellowstone Super-Volcano and it will cure global warming for quite a while and reduce population at a stroke !!
May even set off the next San Francisco earthquake !!!

La Palma will make for some great surfing while Vesuvius
will allow Naples to get cleaned up and re-built.

    Hmmm – nice plan.

These guys are friggin nuts. PLEASE…leave the planet alone. They wanted to coat the north pole with soot years ago to combat global cooling in the 70′s….Can you imagine the idiocy of such a proposal, it would wipe out 4/5th of the worlds population…( oh yeah, that is what they want )
Give me a break…the sad thing is this guy is probably on the public payroll.
AGW is a pile of crap. Nature controls the planet.

When they start laughing at you . . . . . President Teleprompter is to political rhetoric what the Slap Chop guy is to TV pitchmen.

But even Obama couldn’t keep a straight face when he delivered his “overwhelming scientific evidence on climate change” line and everybody laughed.

The Global Warming thingy is soooooooo over when the pitchmen can’t keep the scam alive with a straight face. Obama’s smirk says it all.

Well said, Fred. Like Michele noted, we are being mocked. This “thingy” (I like that term), is far from over. Just wait to see what follows. They’re getting desperate and when they are desperate, they are even more dangerous.

I do feel there is some kind of spirit in this. The other day somebody in the UK tried to exposure the religious language in the AGW arguments. The people stopped at saying that it is a matter of commnicative efficiency. Nevertheless some memories come alive. In the 60′s the main issue was overpopulation. The common denominator is maybe that they are thinking of man as the enimy of nature, but able to take charge, end hence responsible. Most obvoiusly this approach leaves little room for God in a classic christian understanding. Moreover it leaves a carte blanche to define what is good or bad, more or less desireable, and thus there is no moral.

On the other hand i have some respect for people who are not in the position to understand what is going on, and thereby left to trust other people. There may be understandable reasons as to why they are scared by the perspectives propagated in the mainstream media in many countries. I do understand that in their minds “something needs to be done”.

This picture reminds me of another scare that was promoted in the middle of the last century, although I haven’t seen any references to it recently. Before the – ‘WE’RE HEADING FOR ANOTHER ICE AGE’ in the seventies, the scare was:

‘NUCLEAR TESTING IN THE ATMOSPHERE’ IS RESPONSIBLE FOR’… well, just about everything actually; heat waves, cold snaps, floods, droughts, storms, hurricanes etc etc. (sound familiar?). Of course they all went away when nuclear testing the atmosphere stopped, didn’t they, they did didn’t they?

Loons. Saw something on cable sometime back where scientists were covering a small part of a glacer (may have been the Greenland ice cap, dunno) with tarps to study the effects of blocking the sunlight on the glacer melt (the ariel shots of all those cheap blue plastic tarps layed out across the ice was hilareous). The one scientist (loon) was absolutely gitty as he explained how they found that they did indeed acutually reduce melting in their trial. Further studies are needed though to figure out how to find a way to cover all glacier’s at risk. And I was wondering why tarps Home Depot and Lowes are out of tarps….

Looks like Bill Gates is funding this.
    Is he becoming senile?
Or is it a “cooked” report?

They probably used the new Microsoft Global Warming Spreadsheet called Exhotterthanhell.
