The climategate fall guy: Rajendra Pachauri
Michael Mann got a free pass today by Penn State, and many of us wondered, “who will be the fall guy.” Well, here you go: Rajendra Pachauri.

The head of the UN’s climate change body is under pressure to resign after one of his strongest allies in the environmental movement said his judgment was flawed and called for a new leader to restore confidence in climatic science.
Rajendra Pachauri, chairman of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), has insisted that he will remain in post for another four years despite having failed to act on a serious error in the body’s 2007 report.
John Sauven, director of Greenpeace UK , said that Dr Pachauri should have acted as soon as he had been informed of the error, even though issuing a correction would have embarrassed the IPCC on the eve of the Copenhagen climate summit.
A journalist working for Science had told Dr Pachauri several times late last year that glaciologists had refuted the IPCC claim that Himalayan glaciers would disappear by 2035. Dr Pachauri refused to address the problem, saying: “I don’t have anything to add on glaciers.” He suggested that the error would not be corrected until 2013 or 2014, when the IPCC next reported.
Well, at least he can go to work for Geico.
He does look caveman, but he also kind of reminds me of a goat. I guess you could say he’s the scapegoat?

India to have own panel on Climate Change
New Delhi, Feb 4 (IANS) India would soon have its very own panel on climate change, union Environment Minister Jairam Ramesh announced Thursday and added that the country could not depend only on reports from the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).
“There is a fine line between climate science and climate evangelism. I am all for climate science but not for climate evangelism. I think people misused the IPCC report,” Ramesh told a news channel here.
Stressing that the IPCC’s weakness was that it didn’t do original research and derives assessments from published literature, the minister announced a climate change panel for India……….

Basically the IPCC is being dismissed and India is about to set up it’s own climate panel. How long before the Indian scientists(not environmentalists) discover that most of the climate science behind the global warming hoax was tampered with to make a case for CO2 trading and restrict growth in emerging countries like China and India.
Meanwhile the US MSM hides behind the self imposed Berlin Wall protecting the UN’ers in the Democratic party. How long before China sets up it’s own climate panel?

Swedish climate expert Fred Goldberg says China should be prepared for the cold and use coal, Carbon Dioxide is not an environmental problem, the Chinese need to embrace CO2.
“China should focus on pollution of water, take advantage of carbon dioxide, it improves production of food, it improves the growth of forests, rice and everything. It is better with more carbon-dioxide for China”

“When you look at history of that you look at the situation today, it is not very difficult to come to the conclusion that for the next few years, we will have very cold winters. And for the next 30 years, we will have a cooling climate, depending on what will happen with the sun. We might have a little ice age in the future, which will have a very bad effect on food production. It will be very critical around the world. I think because of the population, China will have a big demand,” Goldberg said.
Goldberg explained that the rising ocean is also a hoax.
“With a population of 148 million people in Bangladesh, the breathing of its population will generate equal amount of CO2 the whole Sweden is generating, including traffic, industry and so on. ”
Goldberg further explained that Bangladesh is not exposed to rising ocean levels but the country is sinking due to the earth rock movement in the region bordering Burma.
Talking about the EU policy and strategy in climate issues, Goldberg said that is tragic.
“It is destroying our country. Around Europe it is the same thing. We think we are doing something right, but it is extremely wrong, because what is happening is that by adding tax to our electricity is weird, our industry is moving out of the country, a lot of them is moving to China, China is producing electricity with pollution at the moment, replacing the clean electricity from Sweden, which is a stupid system,” Goldberg explained.
Goldberg didn’t agree with the idea of developing solar and wind energy because of the large cost and subsidies. He support development of the nuclear power even though it is three times more expansive than hydropower, but it is still three times cheaper than wind power, and wind power is very unreliable. “And in China coal is not a problem if you clean it,” Goldberg said.
China and India are going to be light years ahead of western nations as they are investing in cheap reliable energy while Obama and the rest of the western leaders are investing in unreliable wind turbines and snow covered solar panels. There is an energy crisis coming in the West.

greenpeace have got a cheek, they were happy enough to go along with all the other fudged crap before all this fiddling etc came to light, now they want to make a token protest just to save their own hides, dont forget that greenpeace is a business these days getting god knows what in handouts to keep peddling the AGW drivel, may i suggest they take Rajendra Pachauri out on one of their boats & skuttle it 30 miles out at sea & them with it, perhaps a token invite to al gore might be a nice gesture as im sure they should ask for him to be put to task as well.
