The questions Dr Pachauri still has to answer
Christopher Booker in The Telegraph today poses, The questions Dr Pachauri still has to answer.
In last week’s Sunday Telegraph Richard North and I [Christopher Booker] wrote an article revealing the worldwide business interests of Dr Rajendra Pachauri who, as chairman since 2002 of the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, is the world’s “top climate official”. Our report was picked up by newspapers and blogs across the world, and was even the basis for a question put to Ban Ki-moon, the UN’s Secretary General, at a New York press conference. But nowhere did it provoke a greater storm than in India, where Dr Pachauri is director-general of The Energy and Resources Institute (Teri), based in New Delhi, the country’s most influential private body involved in climate-change issues and renewable energy. In addition, as we reported, Dr Pachauri also holds more than a score of positions with banks, universities and other institutions that benefit from the vast worldwide industry now based on measures to halt climate change.
In a series of press and television interviews, Dr Pachauri described our report as “a pack of lies”. He accused us of being part of that same “powerful vested interest” responsible for “Climategate”, the emails and other documents leaked from the East Anglia Climatic Research Unit, which revealed the methods used by the small group of scientists at the heart of the IPCC to manipulate temperature data to show that the earth has been warming further than is justified by the evidence.

Pachauri shall answer no questions except those put to him by a Criminal Court judge;and that is exactly this man and others of his ilk should be interrogated.Trial must take place outside India
Dr. Pachauri refuses to disclose his income from climate-related sources because he knows it will expose a conflict of interest. Pachauri himself lies for calling the Daily Telegraph’s article false, when patently the burden of proof is on him to rebut his accusers. Pachauri is a snake oil salesman – a hypocrite and parasite. He wilfully abuses his position as a public official. His duty is first to those who pay his UN salary – world taxpayers – not himself. He is accountable to all of us for abusing that position. This trumped up railroad engineer, no more qualified in climate science than me, is nothing short of a despicable, dishonourable man who needs to either prove he has unimpeachable integrity or resign immediately from his post as the world’s “top climate official”.
For me, the most telling part of the Telegraph article is here, “When asked whether he intended to take legal action over our article, Dr Pachauri replied that he hadn’t yet made up his mind.”
He dare not sue – he would lose, I promise you. Pachauri is a weazel running scared. Since Climategate he carries about him a haunted look. The stench of corruption exudes from his pores. I say he has a case to answer for criminal fraud. I personally challenge Pachauri to sue me or anyone else for defamation. The evidence is in and the climate con is busted. I side with Lord Monckton that the best way to defeat these climate criminals is by public ridicule. Let them bring lawsuits against their decriers ( us ‘flat earth deniers’ as they call us). Monckton would relish the chance to fight it out in a court of law. I would, too. I am totally convinced the UN is run by a band of crooks out to make their fortunes from the business of “carbon trading.” A trail of corruption spreads far and wide and it is truly astonishing the arrogance of these people that they believe they can get away with it.
We must first go after Pachauri and bring him to book. But I also urge all truth-loving Americans to lobby their elected representatives for a response from the US government. Obama must act for the People, not himself. The US government must file motions via the UN to compel the scum who run the IPCC to declare all their financial interests. The Madoff scandal is very small beer compared to this. A full federal RICO racketeering investigation must now be considered. President Obama had US taxpayers bail out the economy, what did citizens get in return? More of the same sleaze. The gangsters on Wall Street are still held largely unaccountable. The public are growing as equally suspicious of the motives of the UN climate lobby as they are of Wall Street.
As they say, just follow the money. It was none other than Barack Obama who helped fund the world’s pre-eminent carbon trading exchange in Chicago that will likely play a critical role in the cap-and-trade carbon reduction program he wants to push through Congress. It was through that ‘charity’ known as the Joyce Foundation, where Obama served on the board of directors, that $1.1 million was ‘donated’ into the privately-owned Chicago Climate Exchange(CCE). The CCE now calls itself “North America’s only cap and trade system for all six greenhouse gases, with global affiliates and projects worldwide.” By following the money we see who are the real winners and losers here.
Corruption runs deep, dear friends. Ordinary citizens are being fleeced. Unless transparency and integrity can be proven then this whole crumbling edifice must be swept away with a New Year broom.
Lord Moncton had intended to file a criminal complaint against many who had lied to the world at large and defrauded one and all who were given falsified reports and records for personal financial gain of themselves and others who were pushing the climate change agenda on unsuspecting and unsophisticated and/or thoroughly corrupt politicians.
Please keep us informed about progress in this pursuit under the criminal laws.
This approach is very important because now all the various agencies of the UN are uuder a very dark cloud and many if not all could do with very close scrutiny from many different angles-corruption, conflict of interest, own agendas etc.etc.
Thanks
