Note: Not being in the UK, we did not know the racist nature of Nick Griffin, and that he not an elected member of Parliament. Now we know. We abhor racism. Our apologies. Even if he said the right things about climate change, we don’t want to give him space here. Video removed.

Thanks to all who let us know.

Unless you don’t want to be taken seriously in the UK, you must delete this laughable national-socialist video, whether you think you agree with it or not, or else face the certainty of being nationally ridiculed – and then dumped.

Sorry, mate. You’re a massive hero to me, but you’ve got this one thing massively wrong. Forget the gargoyles, and the Brit suprmacists, look after health.

    • Atheist Ranter says:

I know what you mean but Nick Griffin was 100% correct in what he said in that speech.

Just because Adolf Hitler took breakfast every day does not mean that if you also eat breakfast you’re a fascist…

  2. Phlan Phlinger says:

For a raving fascist, this speach is quite reasoned, if only the conservatives would make a stand against the AGW hoax. I serioiusly see the main parties in Britain losing the plot. I really think the UKIP and BNP could win seats.

I applaud my PM Steven Harper for his indifference to Copenhagen.

  3. Uncle Bob says:

It might be the only sensible and reasoned thing this wretched man has ever said and I’ll echo denverthen, I love reading the posts on this site but I wouldn’t want you to get tarred with the ‘fascist’ label as the AGW propoganda people would be all over this. There are many better learned commentators from these shores on the AGW myth anyway, with Lord Monkton probably being the best informed as most coherent.

And being pedantic…Griffin isn’t a member of the UK Parliament (and I hope he never is!), he’s a member of the European parliament, who’s rules have allowed numerous fascist organisations to get their people elected.

  4. artwest says:

    denverthen is correct.
If Griffin, correctly, said that today was Sunday most people in the UK would rather pretend that it was Monday than agree with him. His questioning AGW, especially being the only visible party leader to do so, is a bad thing for sceptics and can only hurt the struggle against warmists.
I appreciate that people elsewhere will have no reason to appreciate Griffin’s image in the UK but any credence given to him by any sceptic will be used as a weapon against us.

  5. Ed says:

I also wonder why you feature a video with the title “BNP Racist Nick Griffin on Climategate” that’s visible without even watching. Apparently whoever produced the video wishes to equate AGW “deniers” with racists.

As for the comment that the video had the title, “BNP Racist Nick Griffin on Climategate,” again being from the U.S., we are so used to being called racists whenever someone takes an anti-politically correct stance on anything, it didn’t even phase us.

    • Dear Admin: You’ve done the right thing, for the right reasons. I applaud your action and I have seen no evidence whatever linking you to racist causes or rhetoric. This is an A-One site, which makes its purpose clear to any who wish to know it.

There is no shame in being fooled, or in making an incorrect assuption. Once it was pointed out to you, you did (and said) the right things.

I, like you, abhor racism in all its forms. I hope that most of us who read and enjoy this site think the same way regarding racism. Thank you for the excellent work that you do. I’m a huge fan of the site.

  7. Jonty says:

Nick Griffin is not a member of any Parliament. The British Parliament is full of idiots and bigots but non as idiotic or bigoted as him!

  8. wombat says:

I get it that you don’t want to affiliate your site with racists. I get it that you don’t want a good message being sullied by a dirty messenger but are people who AREN’T racists saying the same thing? If so, why not post one of their videos instead. If they’re NOT saying the same thing, why aren’t they?

  9. artwest says:

wombat, in the UK, and in most countries, all the major party leaders have been enthusiastically exploiting the AGW scare for years. It’s too late for them to change their tune now.
To be fair, although why I should be I don’t know, they will have been expected to have declare a position on “global warming” years ago when it would have been political suicide to be anti-AGW and so, whether they believed it or not, they toed the AGW line.
On the other hand, Griffin is the leader of a small, widely despised party and nobody was much interested in his AGW policies. I’m not sure that he previously ever said much on the issue, certainly nobody took any notice if he did. He has, no doubt, spotted that the public mood has changed and hopes to ride the populist wave when AGW falls apart.
Expect mainstream politicians who haven’t been too fanatically warmist in the past to cynically start to do the same when the received wisdom becomes that AGW is dead as an issue.

  10. wombat says:

artwest- I get your point. Thanks for the concise explanation. That’s a real shame though. What is it about these types of people that they can’t just admit their mistakes and move on from there?

  11. Claurila says:

In pseudo-democratic Socialist countries, “antiracism” is another scam to browbeat normal people into submission and half-slavery to the state.
Its real name is “anti-white nazism”, as it denies the whites’ civil rights for being whites.
Those parties in Western Europe which have been branded “racist” may indeed be so, but they are merely asserting their citizens’ rights to choose their immigration policies, to the extent that their counries are supposedly “democratic”.

Those citizens have a sovereign right to decide that they don’t want to invite so many foreigners or naturalize them:
being sovereign as a matter of principle, this right is unconditional. To say otherwise because such citizens might have “racist” motives is in effect a denial of their rights because they are white.
    It is anti-white Nazism.
