We pause a moment to feel the love of Al Gore

Given it’s Martin Luther King Day here in the states (MLK is rolling over in his grave, by the way), we want to take a break from the bashing we give poor ol’ Al Gore, forget about policy, and instead just feel the love that he himself feels for planet earth, and all of us for that matter. Nothing shows the tenderness of this man more than this clip of him reading the poem found in his new book, Our Choice, to CBS’s Harry Smith.

As you can see, Harry unquestionably feels the warmth of Al’s glow, captivated by his words, even his mere presence. Let us today, too, bask in the global warmth of his love.

Another scintillating critique from John…Somewhat along the same lines as “Bullshit, Bullshit, etc etc…ending up with the two word phrase starting with “F” and ending with “you”.

More poof that Al Bundy is smarter than Al Gore.

John, we all know it’s merely weather, not climate! </sarcasm>

On a more serious note, has anyone else noticed that AGW-prophets seem to treat “climate” as discrete chunks of 30 years instead of contiguous periods that have trends, i. e. in the previous discretionary chunk it was getting hot, but we’ve not had another 30 year chunk to compare that previous chunk to?..

      • JOHN says:

Or that we have only been measuring ice for 30 years and they want to make hay out of it? Not much data to base any conclusions on.

I’m moved, deeply moved … NOT.

  6. I want to see Al Gore in prison, with a 7-foot-tall cellmate named Bubba.

I’ll bet Bubba will just love hearing Al read his poetry, after lights out.
